FPL – Building a Legacy of Sport and Excellence

Since its inception in 2023, the Futsal Premier League (FPL) has established itself as a defining sporting tradition within our college. What began as an initiative to bring students together through sport has evolved into a structured, highly anticipated league that reflects professionalism, competitiveness, and community spirit.

FPL follows a distinctive franchise-based format, with student team owners and players shaping the league from within. The auction remains the centerpiece of the tournament, where teams are strategically built, allowing each franchise to retain one player prior to bidding. With a maximum of seven players per team, the league emphasizes agility, coordination, and tactical precision on the futsal court. Separate men’s and women’s divisions ensure inclusivity while maintaining a high standard of competition across both categories.

Franchises such as Bluelock FC, Demons FC, FC United, Goal Diggers, Top G’s, and Bharati Titans have become integral to the identity of FPL. Each team represents not just a group of players, but a culture of ambition, strategy, and pride, contributing to the league’s growing legacy.

FPL stands as more than an annual tournament—it is a platform that cultivates leadership, teamwork, and resilience. The league fosters a sense of belonging and healthy competition, encouraging participants to strive for excellence while upholding the values of sportsmanship.

As FPL continues to grow, it reinforces the importance of organized sporting events in shaping a well-rounded student experience. It creates opportunities for individuals to excel beyond conventional settings, while building traditions that future batches will carry forward.

Today, FPL is not just an event—it is a legacy in the making.
